98% of workers want to work remotely at least some of the time, according to Forbes's latest survey. This is why organizations must deliver remote opportunities to attract top talent. What job characteristics lead to motivated and productive employees working remotely? What relationships does job crafting have in creating an environment where employees can thrive? Does remote or hybrid work satisfy the basic psychological needs of autonomy, relatedness, and competence? In today's fast changing world it's both a question of top-down and bottom-up processes. This thesis will investigare both.
In sum, this project is about creating an exceptional work environment where people are motivated and committed.
Managerial value of the research
This thesis adds value to your company by doing a motivational analysis and finding what works for your employees and what could be better. After COVID-19, hybrid or remote work has been extremely popular. Organizations need to stay up to date with the employees' needs to create an environment where they can thrive. This analysis will help your company to create just that.

Research topic motivation
I'm on a mission to create more happiness and productivity for employees. Motivation is ultimately what drives us to act, and motivated employees are more happy, committed, productive, less burned out, and less stressed. I know there is so much to be done to create the future of work, and I'm committed to taking on the journey.
And in terms of remote work, since I embraced it in 2022, it has change my life to become the best version of myself.
