Thesis project description
I would like to investigate how the company is trying to present its products/services to customers so as to raise awareness about this issue (as corporate social resposibility) in order to make more sustainable choices, avoiding eposodes of greenwashing. I would like to investigate what are the focal points nowadays when making managerial or marketing choices and understand what ideas and goals are expected for the future. I would also like to understand how the company tries to showcase itself in a market that is increasingly trying to be sustainable and how the demand for goods has changed over the years.
I think this topic can be good both for a thesis purely on the strategic and managerial aspect of the matter, and solely on the communicative and green marketing aspect. In fact, I would like to take care of both, collaborating with a company that allows me to analyze all the aspects relating to the consequences that climate change has brought about. Here are some examples: eliminating some products from the market, concentrating R&D on more sustainable models and prototypes, changing suppliers, collaborating with organizations that care about these problems, changing the business channels, advertising on various means of communication, changing the target identified for a product, vertical/horizontal integration etc
Managerial value of the research
I believe that a thesis with this focus can help the company gain a clear understanding of the situation: how climate change has impacted the industry and how the company needs to navigate in the future to excel among its competitors. Understanding the key pillars of the products/services that the market demands is crucial to align efforts in the right direction and effectively respond to the needs to be met. It is essential to have a comprehensive overview of the company's offerings in the market, from prototypes to advertising, to assess if they are consistent and authentic. Furthermore, it is crucial to determine if efforts towards increased environmental awareness are effective and what challenges and goals lie ahead in the future.
Research topic motivation
As a student of International Business and Marketing, I am deeply interested in understanding how the ongoing and future impacts of climate change will affect the Danish market. I believe that the issue of climate change presents significant challenges and opportunities for businesses in Denmark, and it is crucial to be prepared to navigate and respond to these challenges in a proactive and strategic manner.
I am motivated to explore this topic because I believe that businesses have a crucial role to play in addressing climate change, and that it is imperative for companies to be proactive in their efforts to mitigate environmental impacts, adapt to changing market conditions, and contribute to the transition towards a more sustainable future. I am particularly interested in exploring how businesses can adapt their strategies and practices to align with the principles of sustainability, and how they can proactively position themselves to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the evolving market landscape.

I have a lot to learn, and I believe the time has come for me to put in effort to understand and contribute. Furthermore, my driving force is the fact that I am not afraid of making mistakes. Making choices, decisions, and learning from errors is the essence of feeling alive to me. That's why I am not afraid to ask for help, and I believe it is crucial to seek assistance and receive diverse opinions.
I am deeply passionate about Nordic cultures, and during my Erasmus+ exchange in Borås, Sweden, I developed a strong affinity for the region's traditions and values. When I visited Copenhagen, I made a personal commitment that Denmark would be my future home. In fact, I aspire to contribute to the improvement of this country, which I now consider a part of my present and future. Additionally, I am keen on finding a company that shares my values, so that I can make the utmost contribution to the company's mission. I would like to have the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally in order to be prepared for the challenges that the future may hold.
