Thesis project description
My interest lies within knowledge management and how organizations with a (primarily) 'personalization' knowledge management strategy can facilitate knowledge sharing by discovering and hereafter breaking down barriers.
I am open to altering the content of the thesis to fit the needs and wants of a collaborative partner organization.
Managerial value of the research
Collaboration on this master thesis could bring new insights to your company and possibly innovative solutions to manage and facilitate knowledge sharing in your company. It can also contribute to discovering how you can best utilize the expert knowledge held by your employees to make sure the rest of your organization gains access to this.
Research topic motivation
My motivational standpoint departs from first-hand experience of barriers to seeking knowledge among technical experts. I am motivated by finding optimal solutions and utilizing organizational resources in the best possible way. As increasingly more tasks and roles erode due to automation, knowledge is the critical competitive advantage of the future. I, therefore, find it interesting to investigate how organizations can utilize the resource of knowledge effectively.
Why collaborate with us
Being a one-person group makes me an ideal candidate for collaboration, as I am very flexible and do not depend on others for decision-making. In addition, I work very structured and organized and am motivated to finish off my education strong.
As I also wrote my bachelor thesis alone and with a great result, I can deliver high quality within the set timeframe. I have spent the last six months learning about knowledge management, giving me the benefit of having the theoretical understanding top of mind. I am convinced that the outputs of this thesis will not only be of use for me in my career but is relevant for all organizations independent of the industry they operate in.
