The thesis topic is flexiible but the main areas of interest are related to: visual communication with transnational relevance; working with gender, diversity, education, society and/or the environment. The thesis may take the form of a product (video, film, other content) or can be structured as a research paper.
This thesis will bring a better understanding of interculturality and intersectionality when working within communications or marketing, especially in international context.
After a recent internship as a Communications Assistant in an NGO which worked with documentary films, I discovered a passion for editing and creating video and other visual content. As my ultimate career goal is working within the area of human rights, equality, sustainability or other development goals, I consider combining my personal motivations, my extensive knowledge in intercultural studies and my recently-gained experience from working in communications to be a great opportunity for me to continue to grow my skills and competences.
Along with my intercultural knowledge, I bring to the table a second Master's in Communication for Development and a Bachelor's in Economics. I am a highly adaptive and flexible individual, with a can-do attitude. I am constantly working on growing my professional skills and network, and am determined to follow through on my ambitions. Ultimately, I aspire for this thesis to be an asset for me following my graduation and give me an upper hand when pursuing my future endeavours.
