Thesis project description
Are you looking for an eager collaboration partner to aid in the design, implementation and/or testing of a high-value software system? Does the project frame and scope lend itself to a thesis collaboration? Then I would be honored to assist!
Ideally I am seeking an opportunity to contribute to a new or existing software project that places a strong emphasis on agile methodologies, user-centric development, and the utilization of contemporary technologies. While collaboration within a team is desirable, it is not an absolute requirement. Additionally, I am keenly interested in a project that offers freedom to explore diverse methodologies and the integration of new technologies.
Managerial value of the research
Through a thesis collaboration, I hope to create value for your organization and other stakeholders by delivering a high quality software product. Whereas typical software projects try to optimize for time and costs, often at the expense of quality, the nature of a thesis project affords higher focus on innovation, performance and thorough documentation. The result can be a system that has an enduring impact on your digital landscape, and potentially serving as a building block for future endeavors.
Research topic motivation
Since my first year of undergraduate studies I have found software development both highly enjoyable and challenging. One aspect that I I love about it is being able to take a complex problem, breaking it into smaller sub-problems, and aggregating the found solutions into an overall system. In addition, programming allows me to stay updated on technological trends and frameworks and challenges me to finding new creative ways to solve problems.
Why collaborate with us
Throughout my years as an engineering student at DTU and student jobs in IT consulting I have developed a passion for building software systems with a focus on user-friendly design, reliability and scalability. I have experience with programming languages for different applications, including object-oriented programming in Java and .NET, web development in Typescript and HTML as well as data science in Python and R. Moreover, I have a solid grasp of software engineering principles ranging from design patterns and CI/CD to agile methods and domain-driven design.
I am passionately driven when working on projects within my field of study, and I take great pride in my work. I view every setback as a new challenge to overcome and an opportunity to learn.
Now I want to challenge myself with a larger-scale project involving intensive collaboration and enhanced accountability. I hope that you are willing to facilitate this thesis collaboration, and if so I will do my utmost to achieve a fruitful partnership.
