Hello,I am studying for a master's in Human-centered AI at DTU. I am about to write my thesis next spring (starting around the 1st of February) and in that regard, I am exploring what exciting thesis options exist.Through both my bachelor's and master I have done a lot of different kinds of machine learning and I would thus like to find a thesis project within this area. I wish to write a thesis which both has a practical and theoretical aspect. The practical aspect could be a type of product, where I create a Python program or likewise which can be used further after my thesis and I am thus not interested in doing something that solely becomes a data analysis. The theoretical aspect could be to create or learn and adjust an algorithm which can be used to solve the problem at hand.Do you have or do you know of someone who has a project matching this description?I am very open to different project opportunities and it is therefore not a problem if the project does not match the above description 100 % or if it is a 2-person project, such that I have to find a partner.Best wishes

I am a very passionate and engaged student, who once committed to a project, will spend many hours perfecting the work. I really like to create programs that are agile, such that new problems can easily be solved with the same code while not having to change details in a lot of different files. I find that this will be quite valuable for you, as others can use the code and thus avoid the case of having a piece of code which can only be changed by a single person.Also machine learning algorithms can provide a lot of insights and help solve problems which would take a person countless hours

I love all the areas within machine learning (ML), as having knowledge about many ML methods gives me the possibility to solve almost any problem. Going forward my dream job is thus to have a job where I can use some time to master a new ML method once in a while. Here my master's thesis is the next step in that adventure, where I hope to dive into one or more methods helpful to a real-life use case.

Both of the larger projects I have done during my studies have tuned into working opportunities. My first larger project was used for an exhibition at Statens Museum for Kunst (SMK) while I am currently continuing the research done for my bachelor's project. This shows that I have the ability to work on a project until it gives successful results.Furthermore, I have had a lot of courses in various machine earning methods, mathematics, probability theory and more, which equips me with the necessary skills for a successful master's project.
