Thesis project description
I would prefer a project where what I'm investigating does something for the green transition.
I would like to work on a project that works with bigger structures (not everyday houses, offices, or schools) that are contributing to the green transition. I'm here thinking that offshore structures and coastal engineering such as windmills, wave energy, energy islands, etc. would be of most interest. But other bigger structures such as bridges and tunnels are also of interest.
Here I would like to work with the structural or mechanical part, the hydrodynamics or the geotechnical part of it.
I'm thinking that either a general structural approach (structural calculations, mechanics, FE-modelling), a more specific one within steel or concrete structures, the hydrodynamics part of the structure or the geotechnical part. Honestly all topics within bigger structures and coastal or marine engineering.

A collaboration on offshore structures for the green energy transition would help your company gain information and help in solving an involved problem regarding the construction of these structures.

I am specializing within civil structures and hope that my work in the future can help the green energy transition directly.
