Thesis project description

We are researching the possibilities and limitations of satellite monitoring for supply chain transparency and its subsequent implications for sustainable development in a company. More specifically, we want to investigate how effective satellite data implementation and usage is at increasing transparency and improving information flows in supply chains management. We are looking for companies already using satellite montitoring or considers to implement it that are willing to work together with us on this bachelor thesis. 

Managerial value of the research

By participating in our research, your organisation wil be provided insight into potential limitations and unforeseen challenges to be aware of as well as offering academically-grounded solutions to these. 

Research topic motivation

We all are very curiosity of the impact that digital technologies have on business and our society. So when two of us had courses last semester about sustainable business initiatives, we became fascinated with how digital technologies and digitalisation can enhance sustainable initiatives. This is why we want to explore this subject, as it is still very novel and evovling. 

Why collaborate with us

We have worked together as a study group our whole bachelor and are particularly interested in and passionate about digital solutions and sustainable business. We are so excited to finally do our first thesis and look forward to the work.
